okay so here’s da fic im talking about. slow, tenderly sad, somehow real. i’ve read it again and again, very slowly, so i hope you guys enjoy it too. Future fic is not really my cup of tea since I can’t stand the angst sometimes, but, this is beautiful. Sorry for my lack of vocab.

prompt: awkward, first-time sex. bonus points if it’s pre-debut and includes a slightly chubby top and his body issues, and a trying to be in charge but very nervous gd.
Seunghyun leans down to kiss him with a hand that cups his jaw. Jiyong inhales sharply through his nostrils, still unused to this.This being Seunghyun, here and warm and solid, the low rumble of his voice that Jiyong likes so much, in Jiyong’s ear, saying stuff like:
“You’re beautiful, you know?”
it’s beautiful, i dont really need to say this again, but her fics are like that, gently beautiful and sometimes cruelly beautiful. i just want to swallow every single word. and yeah, first-time sex will never get old.
“Jiyong,” Seunghyun whispers when they’re both close; his voice is broken by something Jiyong can’t see and isn’t that a weird thought? Seunghyun gets sensitive. He frames Jiyong’s face with his long, long hands and their bony fingers and their large palm and keeps him in place, so when he leans down he can kiss him without too much air being wasted. It’s like being underwater and sharing an oxygen supply – tastes of cigarette and saliva and urgency, because they’ve gotta come back up before the pressure is too low. Then the air gets rare and the lungs tighten and the brain shuts down – and the heart finally stops.
Jiyong feels his and Seunghyun’s stop at the same time. He closes his eyes.
it feels real, it feels natural, and sometimes enough to make my heart stop.
i’ve always loved her ‘how long is now’ fic. that style.
“Good,” Jiyong mumbles, face pressed into Seunghyun’s chest so fiercely he can barely breathe. Slowly, Seunghyun reaches an arm around Jiyong, fingers curling around the back of Jiyong’s shirt, and whispers it to him again, there’s nowhere to go except to you curling into the warm shell of his ear.”

I have to reblog myself to add this story, because, it’s very well-written and lovely. Like a cup of honey ginger tea in the morning that warms you up. I don’t have LJ to talk with the author, but, I feel like she really enjoys writing this fic. As if she just sits down and starts to type out whatever in her head, and it makes every detail in this so natural and realistic.
I feel like living old days again, with my first crush in middle school. The silly salty tears back then are funny now, but it’s worth remembering.

I just edit the gtop fic recs post of mine, so take a look at the ones with angst.
I think most of these fics contain angst, love is more meaningful and make-up sex is hotter after angsty mess. The ones I put angst under the titles are either categorized by the author or 90% angst (which means, oh yeah seunghyun still loves jiyong and vice-versa but they don’t end up together.)

I think, it’s the best fic, written in the gtop fandom, or, at least, in the best three. It’s future!fic and non-AU (well, as non-AU as future fic can be) and the way it’s written is amazingly real somehow, like you really can imagine them like this, 10 years from now. Author seems to have only…
Conversational. Nostalgic. Beautiful. As if I’m reading their life stories featured on a magazine, not a fanfic. The flow of time, the blue of youth, Jiyong and Seunghyun’s album, their struggles over music, some unspoken words - so many things that are told in a confident and warm story.

Things all change. People move on, leaving the past behind. They’ve changed, crossing the wild of youth. No longer running with blood on their knees. But that mutual feeling - it’s still the same after many years. I like the ending so much - we all can interpret it in our own ways.
I don’t know how the writer can manage with a lot of different characteristics/stage of emotions (this fic leaves me with tons of indescribable feelings), but the complex of Jiyong and Seunghyun’s personalities are done so well that I feel o__o after reading.

I’m quite sensitive to non AU fics, and become even more emotional by reading this angsty, dramatic ‘n beautifully heart-breaking chaptered fic. The slow motion and insecurity of Jiyong and Seunghyun relationship, their talks, the jealousy, the fear of the our-relationship-gonna-damage-our-career thing. As usual, they’re in a never-ending cycle: loving each other, kissing each other, hurting each other, healing each other and then breaking each other, a-fucking-gain.
At some point it becomes too real that I feel tears in my eyes while imagining the scenes in my head. Love is bad, terribly bad. The angst is horribly realistic. There’s no melodramatic, but the slowly ordinary pain makes love hurt more than anything else. It all hurts - when Jiyong forces Seunghyun to have sex to make him feel secured, when Seunghyun kisses Jiyong to shut him up in the darkness of their room, Jiyong’s nightmare, their confessions, “I thought you like me”, then “I do.”
Her angst is just too beautiful to resist. Well, gtop just has too many talented writers XD
